Facing Reality

In Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment one of the many themes displayed in the book is facing reality. There are many examples in the book of this recurring theme, such as, when Angel gets taken by the Erasers. When Angel gets taken the flock is forced to go and save her, although the school is the last place they would ever want to go back to, the flock is forced to face the reality of the fact that they have to go back in order to save Angel which they have to do, no matter what.
